Yesterday my guests devoured my quiche. The trick was that I used cream instead of evaporated milk,  and added one apple (apart from the cheese and ham) to the filling.

I also made a delicious chicken with mushrooms, onion, spinach and basmati rice.

So, yesterday was my French cooking day inspired again by one of the cooking books that Mark bought some time ago.

This is the book.

There is a third book on Italian cuisine, but that one I'll leave for another day. Hope I have inspired your next lunch or dinner.
